In two Instagram Story posts, actress and Fæbrik profiler Jenny Skavlan (37) shared that she had been in a bike accident.
In one of the photos you can see Skavlan's helmet, which was clearly damaged after the accident.
“This could be my head now. (Buy a new helmet ASAP),” the 37-year-old writes.
In the next photo, you can see Skavlan taking a photo of herself in the mirror, where you can see she has taped one shoulder and one hand. In addition, she was injured in one elbow.
On the occasion of the incident, she offers a reminder to others:
“This year’s cycling experience was a reminder of how important it is to wear a helmet.”
Jenny Skavlan has not yet responded to Dagbladet's inquiry.
This is not the first time Skavlan has been involved in an accident on his bike. In 2011 he wrote Look and listen The 37-year-old injured her face when she fell from her bike after a ride in the city.
– I thought I was going to die
Dagbladet Magasinet wrote at the time that Skavlan's face was badly damaged in the accident, and printed a photo from a photo shoot related to the film “Help, We're in the Film Industry.” In the photo you can clearly see Skavlan's blue vein under his right eye.
Shortly after, she met with the press in connection with the premiere of “Hajila, We're in the Film Business,” where she mostly walked around wearing sunglasses. But when I took them off, no visible trace of the bike accident was found.
-Blåveisen, he's completely gone, that guy. No, I didn't wear makeup to make it look like that either. I'm completely normal, she told Se og Hør at the time.
Skavlan told Dagbladet Magasinet that the blue route came about because she had three options: she could bike between the tram tracks, on the sidewalk or on cobblestones and dirt.
She chose the first.
-What was it like seeing the Blue Road in print, Jenny?
-You must let go of control
– I could have chosen not to come to the photo shoot with the magazine, it was really up to me. But I've seen worse, she answered at the time.
Skavelan's husband Thomas “Finger'n” Gullestad (43) has also not been so lucky in the past. In contrast, not with a bicycle, but with a skateboard.
In the 2018 accident, Gullestad broke his ankle so badly he had to have surgery in the middle of Christmas.
– It was my crisis of 40 years: I started skating. I really broke my ankle – instantly. It was so terrible, I can't talk about it at once, Gullestad previously told Se og Hør.
-There were only trainees at work, and they didn't understand much about pain relief. He added that the anesthesia after the operation began to wear off, and they did not give me the strong medications I needed.
He described the pain as “inhuman”:
– I started laughing. It was so painful I thought I was going to die. This is probably the closest to death I have ever been.
