Manchester United fans will express their gratitude to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian couldn’t win anything with Manchester United, but a number of fans still appreciated the work Solskjaer did in the coach’s chair at Old Trafford.
Fans also plan to schedule Arsenal’s visit to Manchester United in order to settle the Premier League on Thursday night.
Fans announced on Twitter that they would be paying tribute to the Norwegian with a larger banner above one of the stands at Stretford End at Old Trafford ahead of Thursday’s game.

We weren’t thanking him as we should
In a statement, the fan group wrote that they want to honor Solskjaer at the same time they welcome new club director Ralf Rangnick.
Ole was a legendary player and as a manager who developed the club. The statement said we never thanked him properly, so we will be using the “20LEGEND” flag at Stretford End.
Although Solskjær has had a difficult season with Manchester United, there are many who believe the Norwegian has given the club a better starting point than his predecessors.

Expelled
Solskjær was launched on November 21 after a number of poor results this fall. It culminated in a disappointing 1-4 away loss to Watford.
Michael Carrick, Norway’s assistant coach, took over management responsibility at United after Solskjaer was not allowed to continue in his role.
The Englishman will now be replaced by German Ralph Rangnick once he obtains the necessary work permits.
However, Carrick is also expected to lead United in Thursday’s game against Arsenal, which kicks off at 21:15 NST.
Manchester United are currently eighth in the Premier League – 12 points behind league leaders Chelsea.
