MGP winner will be dad again

2017 Melody Grand Prix winner, Joakim “JOWST” with Steen (32), will soon be a father of two.

Together with Alexander Wallmann (36), he climbed to the top with the song “Seize the Moment” at the MGP. In the Eurovision final, the duo ended up in a respectable 10th place.

– It’s as if the family will be “complete,” Steen writes for Good night Norway.

He and his companion of nearly 15 years, Rita Rybakova, already have a daughter, Sophia (5).

“JOWST JR.”

The musician says that the cohabitant is on his way for exactly six months, and at the same time reveals that he will be a boy.

– This summer we will renovate and equip the children’s room for the next boy. We haven’t found a name yet.

The news was first revealed on Instagram, where “JOWST” shared a photo of the cohabitant clinging to his stomach, with the text: “JOWST jr. On the way!”

Stay in the world of MGP

In the post, many from the music industry came with congratulations, and “Seize the Moment” singer Alexander commented with as many as seven red hearts.

Even though it has been many years since Steen participated in MGP, he still exists in that universe.

Last year he released a song with Agnete Saba, who won the MGP award in 2016, and this summer he will be releasing a song with Kjetil Mørland. He and Debra Scarlett went out to win in 2015.
