At 16.15 it became again possible to access the Nordnet pages. Norwegian CEO Marie Rendall-Owen confirms via SMS at 16:18 that the site is up and running again.
“I can't say what's causing the problems,” says Owen.
– Why not?
– This is simply because we are completely focused on solving the problem. It's very technical. I would like to apologize to our customers. No customers were harmed, and those with critical time needs were able to connect. But we apologize that it was not the ideal process.
Owen says the technical problems appeared at 3.45pm, and the site was only down for half an hour.
– It's very unfortunate, but it's still a simple matter that was resolved after a relatively short time.
The island just came from a meeting about the problems. It cannot say anything about whether the online broker has been hacked.

She also says that you don't have to worry about the money you have on Nordnet.
-The money is safe. It feels like you're having technical issues sometimes. But money is safe where it is, says Nordnet's boss.
She also does not believe that the site will be down again during the evening or in the coming days.
– There is no reason to believe that we will still have problems, but we cannot guarantee it one hundred percent. The problems we had have been solved.
Nordnet has about 390,000 customers in Norway.
