Star Trek star Kenneth Mitchell has died

Kenneth Mitchell, who starred in films such as “Star Trek: Discovery,” “Jericho” and “Captain Marvel,” among others, has died. Reports Delivery time.

Mitchell died of complications from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. He passed away on Sunday surrounded by his family at the age of 49.

“It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Kenneth Alexander Mitchell, beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, son and dear friend, has passed away,” the family wrote on Instagram.

“Over the course of five and a half years, Ken faced a series of horrific challenges as a result of ALS. As is the case only with Ken, he fought through it all with vigour, always with a great desire to live life in every moment. He lived by his principles that every day is A gift and that we never walk alone.”

“Your little brother was shot.”


In 2020, the actor revealed that he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), in an interview with the people.

-The moment they said I had ALS I felt like I was in a movie. Like a scene where the main character is told that she has a terminal illness. The message was a huge shock and I didn't want to believe it.

Mitchell continued to star in Star Trek: Discovery despite the illness. As the disease worsened, they modified his character so that the character also used a wheelchair.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, and two children, Layla and Callum.
