Planica (Dagbladet): Both are now crashed for the regular hill race on Saturday. Neither Johansson nor Tandy wanted to speak to Dagbladet after that.

“It was very clear after today’s training,” says sporting director Klas Brede Brathen of the wreck.

– Do they understand withdrawal?

– I didn’t talk to them about it. But there is no factual basis for disagreeing with this withdrawal, the basis was training today, and that’s what everyone knows we do,” Brathen says.

– He’s an idiot.

Tandy jumped over the fence as he reached the press area. He was clearly frustrated and needed a few minutes to himself.

Norway had six players in training. That’s now four. These jumpers are also included:

Halvor Egner Granerud, Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal, Marius Lindvik and Johann André Forfang.

Tandy and Johansson consistently jumped ten meters shorter than the best. Granrod was the best of the Norwegians and had the longest jump of 100.5 metres.

– It felt so good, says WC favorite on Dagbladet.

Describe the worst and best thing you did today?

– I don’t want to rank anything as the worst. It was fine overall. But the best thing I did was make the last hop, he says.

Driving radius was a little better. I had more patience, which made the rotation more correct. Gain more speed and power on the train.

– What do you think of the disappointment of his colleagues after the draw?

– It’s never fun. But the way he looked at the training, there were two jumping off the team. It’s much easier when four jump better than the rest.

The regular hill race starts on Saturday at 17:00.
