According to the streaming service and Thailand's tourism authorities, filming will begin in February in Bangkok, Phuket and Ko Samui.
Although the result won't appear on screen until 2025, Thailand's tourism industry is already poised to make inroads in collaboration with HBO, according to CNN.

“We are honored that our country has been chosen as the filming location for the long-awaited third season,” says Thapani Kiatphaipul, Chairman of the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The previous two seasons of The White Lotus, which were filmed in Hawaii and Sicily, were hugely popular on the air. According to a press release from travel organizer Tui, following in the footsteps of Hollywood series and movies is one of the travel trends expected to increase in 2024.
In the third season of the dark satirical comedy, HBO once again replaced the entire cast, as was also the case from season one to season two. With one exception: Natasha Rothwell returns to her role as Belinda, the resort manager that viewers first met in Season 1 of Hawaii.
