When Ambassador Serge Andreev arrived at the Mausoleum of Soviet Soldiers in Warsaw, he was greeted with a Ukrainian art installation depicting Russian atrocities in the ongoing war.
Andrejev had to leave with unfinished business, but he will presumably make another attempt later today.
Also last year, the ambassador was prevented from doing his job. The demonstrators then threw red paint in his face, accompanied by shouts of “Fascism!”
