American soccer journalist Grant Wahl died while covering the Netherlands-Argentina World Cup match in Qatar last week. He was only 49 years old.

According to CNN, the remains of the 49-year-old Wahl were flown back to the United States on Monday, where an autopsy was scheduled.

According to NPR, Wahl was said to have collapsed in the press area as the match between Argentina and the Netherlands drew to a close. CPR had to be performed immediately, before he was taken away in an ambulance.

Shortly after his brother’s death, he posted a video on Twitter claiming that his brother had been killed. Now he seems to have turned things around.
