Burnley knocked out
Burnley also disappeared from the FA Cup on Saturday after losing to Huddersfield. Two goals from Huddersfield in the last quarter ensured a 2-1 victory.
The result was not a huge surprise. Burnley have only two teams behind them at the bottom of the Premier League table, while Huddersfield are sixth at the second highest level in English football.
On Saturday, it was Burnley who made the best start and topped Jay Rodriguez after half an hour of play. For a long time, this goal seemed to decide the match.
However, Huddersfield’s final race in the final quarter turned the game around with goals from Josh Koroma and Matty Pearson.
