Inside Sofia Richie and Elliott Gering’s Luxurious Wedding

FifthIt’s hardly May, however, and the wedding between Sofia Richie Greenie, 24, and Elliott Greenie, 29, is probably the most talked about year.

The two got married at the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, last Saturday. The wedding took social media by storm like Instagram and Tiktok.

The 24-year-old model and designer, who, incidentally, is the youngest of singer Lionel Richie’s children (73), got engaged to record executive Elliot Grange a year ago.

Their families have been friends for more than 20 years and the happy couple is said to have been introduced to each other through mutual friends.

Married in Chanel couture, Sofia Richie Gring wears not just one, but three dresses.

Working with Chanel is not only an honor but a lifelong dream, she tells Vogue.

The three dresses were in a row for the rehearsal dinner on Friday, the party on Saturday and of course also the after party.

– At the first fitting at Chanel in Paris, I immediately imagined the dress in which I wanted to marry; Beautiful embroidered lace dress with halter neck and long train. In the dress itself there are subtle details, including an embroidered heart to represent the love Elliott and I share as well as our initials “S&E” embroidered in blue on the inside of the dress above my heart, she tells the fashion magazine.

The other two dresses she wore were based on references from the French luxury fashion house’s archives.

She wore jewelry by Fred Leighton, as well as a pair of diamond earrings designed for her by her sister, Nicole Richie.

Elliot Grainge wore a Ralph Lauren suit to Friday dinner and a Tom Ford tuxedo that day. The bridesmaids, seven in all, wore black dresses.

Father Lionel followed Sophia to the altar. It must have always been a dream of hers.

My dad has always been the most supportive person in my life, and he kept me grounded. I was so nervous before we walked down the aisle. She says it was like I had stage fright.

For the after party, she changed into a Claudia Schiffer-inspired Chanel look inspired by a ’90s supermodel’s corset dress.

Then we danced until the sun came up.
