After more than 30 years as an actor, it may seem that Mark Wahlberg, 52, is ready for a slightly different everyday life.
In an interview with Cigar lovers The 52-year-old hints that his career as an actor is coming to an end.
– I don’t think I’ll be playing for much longer where I am now. That much is for sure, says Wahlberg.
With a full 30 years in the spotlight, Wahlberg has had time to embark on a number of different projects. Most people probably know the 52-year-old actor, but Wahlberg’s career began as a musician in the hip-hop group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
However, he has made a name for himself in Hollywood in recent years, as an actor and director.
However, Wahlberg’s recent statements aren’t the only thing fueling rumors about his possible exit from acting.
Last fall, he was able to reveal that he and his family “escaped Hollywood” and moved to Nevada.
On the talk show “The Talk,” the actor justified his decision to move by saying that he wanted to prioritize his family and make sure his children had a better life.
Wahlberg moved in with his wife, Rhea Wahlberg, and their four children, Ella (age 19), Michael (age 16), Brendan (age 14), and Grace (age 12).
The ‘Ted’ star wanted to start working from home in his new residence. He also admitted that balancing fatherhood and his career was difficult because he was away so much.
