Love Island UK is one of the world’s most popular reality shows, and its eighth season, which aired this summer, has become one of the most popular reality shows in the world. It has been viewed more than 250 million times, according to ITV.
In July, ITV announced that viewers can look forward to both Winter and summer season of the program in 2023.
After the end of the season, there was speculation about whether Laura Wismore, 37, would return to the role of presenter.

Wismore received criticism on social media for her handling of the presenter role this summer.
ITV showed full support to the broadcaster in the wake of the criticism that erupted in social media.
Despite ITV’s confidence in the presenter, Withmore herself announced on her Instagram that she had done with Love Island UK:
After the Love Island profile was shared with the news, fans were clear about who they want to take over for the 37-year-old.
The winner of the 2022 season Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu (28) is often mentioned in the comments section by fans, along with former contestant Maura Higgins (31). On the other hand, Kolkologlu is clearly the preferred candidate.
Wismore notes that her intention as presenter was only to fill in Caroline Flack for one season, and ends the Instagram post by saying that she hopes to make Flack proud.
Neither Cülcüloğlu nor Higgins responded to fan comments about the Love Island takeover. ITV has also not commented on who will take charge of Withmore.
Many of the show’s fans are now also speculating whether Withemore’s husband, 34-year-old Ian Stirling, will leave the show with his wife.
He has narrated episodes since the show hit UK screens in 2015 and is much loved by fans. It was announced this year that he will also be the narrator on Love Island US.
