One of Sweden’s most famous theater artists died of natural causes in London on Friday morning, Anders Ramstedt, his director, told TT news agency.

Taub was the son of famous singer and composer Everett Taub and sculptor Astri Taub. He was one of Sweden’s most famous artists.

In 1949, 15-year-old Sven Bertil made his debut in his father’s film “Sjösalavår”, and in the late 1960s he began acting with his father.

He must have had one of Sweden’s most famous fathers, but he found his way into the Swedish folk spirit on his own. He ran his father’s legacy, Everett’s timeless performances, but reached audiences primarily through his formidable on-stage personality, artistic quality and ability to bring depth and life to songs and performances.
